Therapist Support

Being a therapist is rewarding, but it's also hard.

Holding space for others is meaningful work, but it can also be isolating, emotionally demanding, and filled with questions that don't have easy answers. No matter where you are in your professional journey, you deserve support, encouragement, and opportunities to continue learning.

At The Center For Mindful Exploration, we're committed to supporting therapists as they grow in confidence, deepen their clinical skills, and build sustainable, fulfilling careers. Whether you're just beginning your journey or have years of experience, we're here to help.

Clinical Supervision

Quality supervision is about more than meeting licensure requirements. It's an opportunity to develop your clinical judgment, strengthen your confidence, and become the therapist you want to be.

Susan Marshall, LPC, CPCS, provides clinical supervision for Associate Professional Counselors in Georgia in a supportive environment that encourages curiosity, thoughtful reflection, and professional growth.

What We Offer

Consultation

Even experienced therapists benefit from another perspective.

Consultation provides a collaborative space to think through challenging cases, explore treatment approaches, navigate ethical questions, or simply reconnect with the curiosity that first drew you to this profession.

Consultation is available for therapists of all experience levels and clinical orientations. Susan also serves as an EMDR Consultant-in-Training, offering consultation for EMDR therapists seeking support in developing their skills, deepening their understanding of the EMDR model, or working toward EMDR certification.

Whether you're looking for ongoing consultation or support with a specific case or clinical question, we're here to help.

Continuing Education

Learning doesn't stop after licensure.

Throughout the year we offer workshops and continuing education opportunities on topics related to clinical practice, trauma, mindfulness, EMDR, professional development, and therapist well-being.

“As a supervisor, Susan offered grounded, healing support, encouragement, and intentionality from our very first meeting. I found her to be responsive, nurturing, and insightful about what I was experiencing as a supervisee. Those traits hold true with Susan in consultation. Susan makes time for me when I need someone to help me sift through difficult situations and offers ethical, practical encouragement and solutions. I also find Susan to be ever-curious and enthusiastic to share what she learns with others. Her continuing education courses are engaging, well-planned, and immediately clinically useful. I highly recommend her as a clinician, supervisor, colleague, and educator.”
