What is EMDR?

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based therapy that uses guided bilateral stimulation to help the brain reprocess distressing or overwhelming experiences. Rather than focusing only on talking through what happened, EMDR supports your brain’s natural capacity to heal and integrate difficult memories. This process can reduce the emotional intensity of experiences that feel “stuck,” including those related to trauma, anxiety, grief, and other life challenges. Over time, clients often experience greater emotional balance, clarity, and a renewed sense of ease in daily life.

With EMDR you have options.

Traditional 55-minute sessions

Extended 90-minute sessions

EMDR Intensives

EMDR Intensives are extended therapy sessions designed for deeper, more focused therapeutic work over several hours or a full day. Instead of spreading therapy out week by week, intensives create uninterrupted space to engage more fully in the healing process. This immersive approach can support meaningful shifts in a shorter period of time, especially when working with trauma, anxiety, or other distressing experiences. EMDR Intensives offer a structured and intentional way to move toward greater relief, clarity, and emotional integration.
